If you’re in Moria and enter­ing the Cham­ber of the Cross­roads do not just run for­ward with­out look­ing. In the cen­ter of the main room is a well. I’ve fallen into it twice now with­out think­ing. It’s prob­a­bly a good idea to pay more atten­tion to it than I have.

Unless, of course, you want to get to the Water­works quickly. After you die, you’ll respawn just out­side of The Rot­ting Cel­lar camp in the north­east­ern part of the area.
