Tur­bine has released a video of another area in Moria, this time focus­ing on the Sil­ver­tine Lodes. We’ve seen ran­dom screens from the expan­sion that have shown off this area in the past. Even so, I enjoy watch­ing these because they give off a sense of scale I just don’t think pic­tures cap­ture well.

I also wanted to make a com­ment about the music in the video. Chance Thomas com­posed the music for the orig­i­nal game and is han­dling the Mines of Moria expan­sion as well. I really feel that he’s done an amaz­ing job with these and other titles he has worked on. Inter­est­ingly, on the MMORPG front, he also com­posed music for the upcom­ing Star­gate Worlds. It’ll be inter­est­ing to hear how that turns out, as I imag­ine the feel will be quite dif­fer­ent.
