I was at Best Buy today, planning on picking up a new Logitech Revolution MX mouse ($40 instead of the normal $100, not bad). I made my way to the computer software section and was pretty surprised: a significant amount of games were being sold for $9.99.

This included every last thing they had that was LotRO related. The Mines of Moria: Complete Edition and Mines of Moria: Special Edition were $9.99 each. Even more surprising, the 60 day game cards were $9.99 instead of the normal $29.99.

I live in Chicago, but I cannot confirm how widespread this may be. Two separate Best Buys here (a good distance apart, at that) had this special going. One had signs out about it, while the other did not.

Your best bet is to see whether or not the games and cards have a green circle sticker on them. Every thing that was $9.99 had that sticker.

If you don’t manage to find anything, keep in mind that I loaded up on quite a bit (more than one Special Edition and several game time cards) and will be having contests to pass it all on to you guys.

Stay tuned and good luck!
