His blog has been mentioned before but bears repeating. If you play a Warden, you should be reading Docholiday’s blog.
Today’s installment on tanking gambits is pure gold — Auction House gold, the best kind.
Cheers,
Hobbit

I’m glad 2 High Road posted Conquering the Hall of Mirrors!
The only time Hobbit attempted Hall of Mirrors was during an interminable rotation with 1 person anchoring the 3-man, and 5 of the rest of us taking turns as the other 2 players in the instance.
We were all Defenders of Amon Sul, so it was not as traumatic as a PUG, but it was no fun walk in the park either.
By the time my 60 Warden joined, everything was cleared out and it was just the final boss lady. And, wow, is she mean! After 4 wipes, we finally gave up the ghost. 2 High Road’s guide is much appreciated.

RGilthanas has a post on the official LotRO forums about an encounter with “The Swamped One”. This creepy, violet-colored creature is both Elite and Level 60 and was (understandably) pretty much impervious to all of RGilthanas’s Level 51 abilities.
It turns out that The Swamped One is actually a special mob for the Warden’s class quests. He’s supposed to spawn in the Foundations of Stone in Moria, but apparently has been popping up elsewhere. It might be a bit of fun to take him out if you’re capable, but everyone else should just avoid him entirely.
Patience says as dev looked into this and said the following:
The logic governing his spawning was flawed, resulting in some rather unfair behavior towards low level characters. I’ve made and submitted fixes for this that will go in the next build internally and will ultimately end up on the live worlds.
Until then, that place is evil, don’t go near it =)
Should be fixed soon. In the meantime, I thought it was pretty amusing.

MMORPG.com posted a new Developer Diary Video today. I can’t seem to figure out where they got it and unfortunately they don’t allow you to embed their videos elsewhere.
The video gives some general details on the new Warden and Rune-keeper classes, narrated by Cardell Kerr, Creative Director, and Ryan Bednar, Lead Game Systems Designer. While it doesn’t offer any new information, it is a nice way to see both of the classes in action.

Another group of three Developer Diaries have appeared on the official LotRO Web site. This time around, they cover the Guardian, Captain and Warden’s advancement beyond Level 50. As with the other classes, each diary discusses equipment options, skill adjustments, new skills and three new Trait Sets.
