I find that I can get through pretty much anything with the captain, and I really enjoy it for farming materials for crafting. You can send your herald (I call mine Harold) to attack an enemy and grab the resource, then join in the attack. I like that, with the rune-keeper, you can through down a rune stone at the start of the fight for some HOT, and then blast away! Almazar I too love the Captain and the Rune-Keeper.
