Some good news for you folks out there who’ve been won­der­ing about that whole Rid­ers of Rohan busi­ness. A new inter­view on Gamerzines​.com con­firms that both Vol­ume III and a Rid­ers of Rohan expan­sion are already in the works and, hope­fully, are both meant for 2010.

Notes Adam Mer­sky, PR Man­ager at Tur­bine, “Vol­ume III will kick off with our first con­tent update of 2010. With our expan­sion this year we’ve changed the model; you can still expect to receive reg­u­lar (free) con­tent updates, but they may not map directly to the launch of a new Epic Story.”

Accord­ing to the Gamerzines​.com report, Rid­ers of Rohan looks to be sep­a­rate from Vol­ume III as it may not be the name of the actual Vol­ume III con­tent update. Says Mer­sky, “Regard­ing Rohan, we aren’t talk­ing specifics yet about our next expan­sion. Stay tuned for more info next year!”

Mas​sively​.com has an update regard­ing the Rohan busi­ness.  Mas­sively writes,  “Update from Tur­bine: The actual name ‘Rid­ers of Rohan’ was never con­firmed. They’re con­tact­ing Gamerzines to fix the mis­take now.” In a nut­shell, every­one go back to your reg­u­larly sched­uled LotRO play­ing. Noth­ing to see here. *whis­tles and runs away*
