I love LotR, but I’ve never tried LotR Online. I’ve always been hesitant to try MMOs, but I’d be more than willing to give this one a try!

Seriously, I doubt you could find a bigger LotR fan than me. This is something I’ve wanted to try a for a while, and this would give me the perfect opportunity to do so! Thanks for offering this contest!

Well I first read the books in the 1970’s and have been a big fan of Tolkien ever since.

I am in between MMO’s right now and am looking for a new addicition :) And I love the folks over at OTG and would like to give this game a go with them.

There is just something about being able to immerse yourself in the Land of Middle Earth :)

After 4 years in-game I finally quit WoW late last year, and I’ve been looking for a replacement MMO ever since.

Wizard 101 was good for a while. So good that I bought two 12-month subs, one each for my son and I, but after the “new MMO smell” wore off it left me wanting more.

    “Please, sir. I want more.”

    “MORE?!?!”

    “Yes, sir; more…IA”

    “MORIA? I WANTZ IT!!!”

Excuse me one moment while I let the LOLCat out.

Ok, back. So after W101 came Runes of Magic. It’s quite polished for a F2P MMO, while its dual-class system is something that everyone really should experience. It kept me going for a while, rolling various Alts, trying out different class combinations. Then I took a couple of weeks off and when I logged back in.…I’d been /GKicked. I guess for being an “inactive player”.

    /me drops to his knees.
/me screams to the heavens, “I was only gone for two weeks!!!”

    *crickets chirping

    And now?

Now I’m reduced to ‘playing’ Mafia Wars on Facebook. Yes, you heard me. My current MMO is Mafia Wars on Facebook!

My name is Cap’n John, and I’m an MMOaholic.

Um…btw…can I get an Add for Mafia Wars? I haven’t hit 501 yet, and I keep getting Pink Boxed.

    Wait a minute…this isn’t the Facebook TAB!!!

I started playing UO, then took a break because it got repetitive. I then played SWG until I realized I was sitting in a cantina doing healing people every day. Next was COH which was fun but too grindy for my tastes. Then I picked up EvE which I love with every fiber of my being. Thats why I quit it. It was taking up too much of my time (playing station sim for hours at a time). After a year of not playing an mmo I picked up WoW and have been genuinely enjoying it. But I’d love to try out another franchise and see what the other side is doing.
