You might have heard that that some peo­ple were unable to log into LotRO recently. Many were given an SSL Cer­tifi­cate Error when load­ing up the game. Tur­bine didn’t have an ETA for a fix, but appar­ently they fig­ured it out pretty quickly.

Sapi­ence has posted that the issue has been resolved. If you had prob­lems log­ging in recently, give it a try.

Unfor­tu­nately, play­ers on the Arken­stone server are still expe­ri­enc­ing issues. Appar­ently many are unable to get past load­ing screens while on the server. This is unre­lated to the SSL Cer­tifi­cate Error and Tur­bine is work­ing on a fix. Hope­fully it won’t take too long.
