Turbine is currently testing the first big patch for Mines of Moria and it’s expected to go live soon. You can read the full release notes on the official site, if you wish.

More than likely, each player will have different issues they’ve noticed and care about … so covering all of it here would be a bit much. It fixes all sorts of class issues, UI issues, item issues and more. I was also glad to see it adds the appropriate glow to Legendary Items.

Unfortunately I didn’t see a fix for an issue I’ve been having. When in a Fellowship, there is consistently not a little green dot on my map for some players. I’ve been unable to figure out what exact situation causes this problem, but it can be a huge pain. It makes it very difficult to tell where that person is going without constantly being at their back.

Is anyone else having this issue?

Check your map filters, they added a new filter for Fellowship Leader which is slightly different shade of green. Unfortunately it default to OFF.

I noticed this morning in certain situations there are even more filters but they’re not showing for every map…

They added a separate map filter for Fellowship Leader, and had it unchecked by default. Check that out, I bet it’s the cause of your issue

I haven’t seen it personally, but one of the guys that I group with regularly has complained of the same thing since the upgrade.

Thanks everyone, I’ll definitely give that a shot next time I’m on :) … I’m having to reinstall the game due to some bad sectors on a hard drive in the meantime.
