That actually explains a lot. I had edited into this post that I was able to fish for a few minutes after the timer expired. I most likely talked to the Fisherman at that point... I don't know why I wouldn't have. So that makes a lot of sense. I'll have to try that out, I'm pretty behind on getting all of the items I want :). Thanks for the information.

]]> By: Aryadwyn http://mmeow.net/2008/08/summer-festival-fishing-guide/#comment-53 Aryadwyn Thu, 14 Aug 2008 16:23:49 +0000 http://mmeow.net/?p=203#comment-53 I would just like to comment on one thing, when your 20 minute timer expires, you may continue fishing for the Festival fish for as long as you like, so long as you don't talk to the Fisherman vendor that gave you the quest.  I have spent over an hour collecting Amberjack, Luilim and Drum from the Shire site after my timer expired.  I had fished a stack of each, plus a bunch of [Small Fish]. I believe this to be an oversight, like so many other things in this Festival season (Broken music boxes, broken dance steps, no use for small fish...)
