I tried “fishing in bywater” but there is no body of water in Bywater to be specific. As soon as you get to the stream the area turns to Hobbiton-Bywater, making it impossible to clear the tast. What gives?!

Hi there. Turbine isn’t listing this as a known issue. Unfortunately I’ve not participated yet this year, so I’m not certain what may or may not be different this time around.

Hopefully someone with more info will see this, but I’d definitely suggest trying the official forums if you haven’t yet.

I just wanted to ask, I seem to be having problems fishing in Bywater. I haven’t got any festival fish NOR does the fishing deed (Fish in Bywater) clear. Am I doing something wrong?

thanks for the info, small fish have been getting on my nerves hehe, anyway i purchased all the music box’s and there all the same music just different names.

That actually explains a lot. I had edited into this post that I was able to fish for a few minutes after the timer expired. I most likely talked to the Fisherman at that point… I don’t know why I wouldn’t have. So that makes a lot of sense.

I’ll have to try that out, I’m pretty behind on getting all of the items I want .

I would just like to comment on one thing, when your 20 minute timer expires, you may continue fishing for the Festival fish for as long as you like, so long as you don’t talk to the Fisherman vendor that gave you the quest. I have spent over an hour collecting Amberjack, Luilim and Drum from the Shire site after my timer expired. I had fished a stack of each, plus a bunch of [Small Fish].
I believe this to be an oversight, like so many other things in this Festival season (Broken music boxes, broken dance steps, no use for small fish…)
