Book 14 seems to have brought a bunch of prob­lems along with it, unfor­tu­nately. While I’ve enjoyed the addi­tions (and the Sum­mer Fes­ti­val) thus far, it’s hard not to think that these prob­lems have cast a shadow over the lat­est patch.

Now it appears that there are new Auc­tion House issues. Namely, you can only cur­rently search for items with­out a space in their name. Con­sid­er­ing a major­ity of items are more than one word, it’s a pretty com­mon issue.

Tur­bine is work­ing to rec­tify the issue cur­rently, but offers this advice:

A tem­po­rary workaround, while we inves­ti­gate the issue, is to drag the item you want to search for into the “Item Name” field. This will paste the full name, includ­ing spaces.

Unfor­tu­nately this only really helps when you want to price items you already have.

That said, Tur­bine has been pretty quick to get fixes for each of these prob­lems out. I cer­tainly would have pre­ferred these things didn’t hap­pen (as would the devel­op­ers, haha), but I guess any MMORPG is bound to have a prob­lem like this sooner or later. Frankly, I’m kind of sur­prised it’s taken this long for some­thing of this sort to happen.

Here’s hop­ing this gets fixed soon and that it’s the end of the prob­lem.
